After receiving his LL.M. in taxation from New York University, Professor Badyal spent spent several years with law firms in New York City, San Francisco and San Diego where he was regularly involved in structuring, documenting and implementing various business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, loan workouts, joint ventures, and real estate development and investment projects. 

 

Outside of teaching at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Professor Badyal continues to advise closely held businesses with respect to tax and general legal matters as a solo practitioner. 

 

Badyal is in private practice with an emphasis in representing real estate developers, small businesses and business owners.

 

Professor Badyal teaches Taxation of Business Organizations.
