The Family Law Society and Real Property Society successfully hosted “Speed Networking” on February 28th at Sevilla Nightclub, located in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.

The venue was fantastic and the lighting, background music and tables adorned with white tablecloths and tea light centerpieces created the perfect ambience.

Following introductions, Thomas Jefferson law students had the opportunity to meet with local attorneys, including alumni, who practice in the following areas of law: family, juvenile, elder, bankruptcy, wills, trusts & estate planning, and real estate.  Each attorney was assigned to an individual table and groups of 2-3 students transitioned from one table to the next after seven minute increments of time.

The evening concluded with a mixer allowing students to continue conversations with attorneys of their choice while enjoying an assortment of tapas and sangria.  In summary, Gregory Caruso (2L) commented, “Great event, attorneys, atmosphere, hors d’oeuvres, friends... awesome job.”
