On November 18, TJSL Professor Meera  Deo met in San Francisco with Erica Gonzalez ’11 and Sahzad Banth ‘11. Profesesor Deo is a Visiting Scholar at Berkeley Law this fall.

Sahzad is currently working at the legal department of Loyal 3, which he says is focused on “democratizing the capital markets.” His focus is corporate and securities law. When asked about his law school experience Sahzad said, “hard work, perseverance, and a drive to succeed will always lead to success.”

Gonzalez is working at a local firm and shared, “I am currently employed at Low Ball and Lynch —a general civil litigation firm. Thomas Jefferson has given me the confidence to voice my opinions and given me the language to strengthen my views into a poignant and persuasive voice. The road through law school was challenging and sometimes overwhelming, but has strengthened me to become the attorney I am today.”
