Kristen Gonzales Roberts is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Trestle Law, APC which provides intellectual property, employment and business solutions for individuals and business owners throughout Southern California. Roberts provides custom branding consultation and works to develop and protect the intellectual property of her clients. She has experience litigating opposition and cancellation proceedings before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and has also litigated trademark infringement matters in the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Further, Roberts provides businesses ranging from 2-5,000 employees with general counsel representation, and has rendered services in all areas of corporate, employment, and contract law.
In addition to her practice, Roberts actively serves on the Lawyers Club Lawyers without Courtrooms Committee, Reproductive Rights and Women's Advocacy Committee, and Networking Events Committee. Roberts serves as a Board Trustee of Empower Charter San Diego, a fitness-focused, Spanish immersion charter school in Linda Vista. Roberts additionally serves as a Thomas Jefferson Alumni Association Board of Directors member. She was named a Daily Transcript 2013 Young Attorney finalist, and most recently, a San Diego Business Journal 2014 Emerging Generation Award: Top 25 in their 20's winner.
Roberts graduated from Scripps College for Women with a degree in Music and an emphasis in vocal performance, and is a classically trained opera singer. Roberts earned her J.D. Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was a Notes Editor with the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. She is licensed to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
